The Role: The College is looking to hire an experienced Head of Housekeeping to join their team. The successful candidate will ideally come from a 4 or 5 star hotel background, and will have a real passion for delivering staff training as well as maintaining extremely high standards. You will motivate and develop the housekeeping department, overseeing all training and inductions in accordance with College policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for ensuring very high standards of hygiene and maintaining the quality of the College's bedrooms and conference venues. Staff discipline will be a key aspect to the role and we are looking for someone with solid experience of overseeing a large team and managing any behavioural issues effectively and professionally. You will be an excellent communicator, working to maintain good working relationships with managers, colleagues, students and fellows. A qualification in Housekeeping is extremely desirable. The Package: We are looking to pay a salary of between £24,435 and £28,068, depending on experience. This is based on a 40 hour week, ideally starting at 7am.
