AJ Chambers are currently recruiting for a market leading business within the Music Industry based in North London. The company are seeking a Financial Controller to manage the financials of the company and report direct to the CEO. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACCA qualified Accountant with staff management experience to join an aspirational business with plans to grow its client base and expand in to different markets. This role is essential to the business and requires someone with the ability to manage a small team effectively whilst ensuring that all aspects of the day to day accounts are completed accurately and efficiently. The duties for this role will include, but not be limited to: * Managing a finance team of 3 * Set:up and maintenance of PL accounts * Payment runs and forecasts * Month end procedures * VAT returns * EC Sales List and Intrastat returns * Nominal journals and reconciliations * Management accounts * Processing payroll and sales commission * Preparing all month end duties * Liaising with auditors Applicants for this role must be able to demonstrate the following: * ACCA or CIMA qualified * Sage experience * Currently managing a finance team * Able to work to strict deadlines and prioritise a heavy workload If you are a qualified Accountant with staff management experience looking for a new opportunity in North London, please apply with your up to date CV or contact Liam Hayes at AJ Chambers for more information.
