Digital Communications Assistant – Social Media (Executive, Marketing) BLUD34444 Bournemouth, Dorset (some off site work around Bournemouth & Dorset) Salary £15,000 - £18,000 per annum 9 month Fixed-Term Contract with expectation to extend Our client is a not-for-profit company with the ambition to help the growth of the creative and digital economy in Dorset. Their strategy is to work with businesses and talent locally, as well as attract start-ups and other businesses to establish themselves in the region. They are working with a wide range of organisations across the digital and creative industries to support the creation of 3500 new jobs during the next 5 years. They are currently looking for an ambitious Digital Communications Assistant to join them helping to deliver an integrated communications programme across multiple channels. Supporting the Communications Manager, you will create and deliver content through different channels including; social media, video, press online and blogs, generating interest in a range of stakeholder groups. Your work will primarily focus on engaging and retaining the interest of a teenage target audience for a sizeable, Bournemouth-focused, philanthropic project and pushing the wider interests and achievements of the creative digital sector in Dorset, nationally and internationally. A full suite of social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and more) will need to be used in order promote the activities, endeavours and achievements of the programme, focusing on introducing young people to the sector and highlighting the range of exciting career opportunities it offers. With great interpersonal skills and bursting with confidence, we are looking for someone with solid social media marketing and Microsoft Office skills. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of literacy and will have some experience of working well with small teams. Above all, you will be motivated and passionate about all things digital! Previous experience of working within a Marketing environment and using Google Analytics, Hootsuite, WordPress CMS, would be extremely advantageous. Does this sound like you?
