Position: Fieldwork Supervisor Reference: 1371359 Location: Hastings/Bexhill/Battle/Rye Salary: £18,750 per annum/37.5 contract (shift work will be required) Our client is looking for someone who has responsibility for ensuring an excellent quality of service and that customer needs are being met by the Branch, through field supervision of care workers delivering homecare and/or re-ablement, completion of assessments and reviews and regular quality and compliance checks in line with Branch processes, our client's policy and CQC Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.Day-to-day responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating standards of care provided in the community, completing customer needs assessments, risk assessments and regular review of care needs in line with Branch processes and contractual requirements. Transport is required due to the nature of the role. About the Nurse Team Manager role; Key Responsibilities and Tasks: * Ensuring that customers receive home care and/or re-ablement that meets their needs. * Preparing and updating customer support plans in accordance with agreed processes and timescales. * Conducting care worker quality spot checks and supervisions in customer homes in accordance with agreed processes and timescales. * Conducting care worker competence checks in accordance with agreed processes and timescales. * Providing guidance and direction for care workers in delivering person-centred homecare and/or re-ablement to customers. * Ensuring that safeguarding is a key priority and that all concerns about abuse and poor practice are robustly managed to ensure staff and services reflect our values, and raise any concerns regarding the safety of customers immediately, in line with our client's Safeguarding policy * Completing customer satisfaction surveys. * Preparing MAR (Medication Administration Records) charts for customers in line with our client's policy. * Liaising with social care and health professionals regarding customer needs. * Providing regular updates to Care Coordinators and external stakeholders on customer progress through re-ablement service (where relevant). * Providing telephone support to care staff and customers as required. * Where necessary, working as a hands-on carer, as determined by line manager and Branch Manager. * Any other administrative procedures required by line manager or Branch Manager. * Reporting any problems with service delivery to line manager or Branch Manager. * Assisting with care worker recruitment. * Participating in an on call rota. Additional responsibilities: * Ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest standard, and in accordance with policies and procedures. * Promote, at all levels, the service vision, values and strategic objectives. * Treat all customer information with complete confidentiality: all staff working for our client's have both a common law duty and a statutory duty of confidentiality to protect customers and any personally identifiable information only use it for the purposes for which it was intended. The disclosure and use of confidential client information needs to be both lawful and ethical. * Comply with and demonstrate commitment to our client's Diversity Policy, Equal Opportunities Policy and any equality strategies. * Comply with general Health and Safety responsibilities, (set out in the Health and Safety Policy) and ensure all staff work in a safe manner reporting any unsafe acts or conditions. * To work on a rota that will include evenings and weekends. * Any other reasonable management request in line with the role.
