Field Service Engineer (Industrial Equipment). Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 DOE plus bonus, overtime and vehicle. Location: Based in or near Nottingham but able to travel country wide. Field Systems and Service Engineer. We are a well known and globally respected supplier of a wide range of industrial equipment servicing an eclectic portfolio of customers. Due to growth, we now require an Electrically biased Field Systems and Service Engineer situated in or near Nottingham who will be able to travel nationally to see our customers. Due to the diverse nature of this role, we require a talented Field Systems and Service Engineer with an equally diverse skill set which will include: A minimum of HNC Electrical/Electronic Engineering and practical experience of installing, servicing and maintaining complex electro mechanical machinery - We would be particularly interested in candidates who have worked with x ray/product inspection systems. The successful candidate MUST have practical skills in not only the electrical and mechanical aspects of the role but also control systems and networking. Field Systems and Service Engineer. - Ensure service is provided in a timely and cost effective manner. - Investigation, diagnosis, and rectification of breakdowns on customer equipment. - Routine service and/or calibration of customer equipment. - Promoting audits/calibration/validation activity for the PI Division product range. - Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with MT current Quality Procedures. - Provide technical support to customers during service visits and subsequent telephone/email as necessary. - Provide first line technical help desk support to customers, admin teams and other sales/service team colleagues. - Provide 24/7 telephone support on a rotary and as needed basis.
