We are currently looking for Field Care Supervisors. The role involves shift work as well as some on-call duties as and when required. Your main responsibilities will include but will not be strictly limited to: • Ensuring our Service Users are receiving the care and support they expect and deserve • Liaising with the Service User directly both at the commencement of the service and for its duration • Conducting assessments and reviewing on a regular basis how the service is delivered • Supervising and managing the Carers and Support Workers, and ensuring that they are always adhering to Hales Health and Social Care’s high standards • Working closely with the Branch Manager,  and Regional Managers to plan the service effectively by assisting with on-call duties and monitoring any changes that occur in a service user’s care plan • Providing  guidance, training and shadowing and performing  unannounced spot checks The main requirements for applicants are: •  Experience of service provision in the care profession would be ideal and experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage. • Key competencies required for the role are excellent learning orientation, problem solving skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. • Excellent understanding of English language both written and spoken • A valid driving licence  and a car owner • The successful candidate will be results driven but even-tempered and patient, able to cope with change and be able to display empathy and warmth when required. • Competent IT skills are essential as well as a good understanding of Health and Safety.
