A strategic and innovative Development Chef wanted for an enviable customer account. Supplying the top retailers with added value meat products. Without a doubt, one of the most exciting and involving Development Chef positions in the UK currently. You have the opportunity to join a business that has excellent working relationships with its retailer clients in delivering genuine innovation and first-to-market, raw and cooked meat products. This Development Chef role is a unique position that has you working for the Commercial team, responsible for leading your customers into exciting and innovative new product launches. You will be fully aware of the market trends and have already proven you have managed pipelines for products that standalone, and those that also compliment a variety of product ranges within the added value chilled category, so that the success of this site continues into the next phase of the companys growth plans. A successful history of managing the customer relationship is required for this role. You will already understand the challenges from taking food concepts on the full Field to Fork journey in a factory environment. Refining product recipes, competitor analysis and exploring new cuisines, whilst influencing your colleagues and customers on not just seasonality but also truly innovative flavour profiles is a must. These can include slow-cooked meats, rubs, marinades, BBQ, pulled meat and Sous-Vide as examples. This challenge must motivate and inspire you to influence others.
