We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our growing helpdesk team at our newest site in Andover, and take responsibility for providing both 2nd line technical support combined with exceptional customer service. As the successful Desktop Support Engineer you will boast a track record within 2nd line service desk support, coupled with an unrivaled customer focused manor. **This role requires flexibility to work a 4-on/4-off day & night shift pattern as well as valid UK driving licence**. Key skills needed for the Desktop Engineer:. - Proven experience within a similar role, with a particular focus on 2nd line. - Experience of working to SLA's as well as mentoring more junior members of staff when needed. - Previous experience of covering all aspects of a helpdesk. - Technical skill with Windows 7/8, Mac OS X and Citrix. - A strong understanding of & experience within a network infrastructure. - Excellent customer service and people skills. - Microsoft certifications (or equivalent) would be preferable. - Full, valid UK driving licence and the flexibility to work in shift patterns later in the year.
