It supports all the major platforms and companies from its new Special Purpose site in Hayes. It is growing year on year and needs dynamic people to help with its success as we continue to expand into new materials and new manufacturing methods. Job Objectives/ Position: With the aid of appropriate in house training, the chosen candidate will gain knowledge on some of our key customers and accounts. Specific customers and accounts will be delegated to the individual and it will be their responsibility to ensure that customers enquiries are responded to within a set period of time and all customers orders are delivered within the lead time. This will involve liaising with the Technical, Purchasing, Quality and Production Teams on a daily basis. The individual will be responsible also for keeping the sales quotation in our internal SAP system up to date, including ensure quotation are quoted within the deadline, following up on quotations and gathering marketing data and ensuring Attewell have quoted competitively in order to win business Job Description: * Booking customers enquiries in to internal SAP system and delegating to the Technical Estimating Department * Work closely with the Technical Estimating Department to ensure customers enquiries are responded to within a set period of time or by the customers deadline * Submission of quotations to customers with the aim to secure an order or gain relevant feedback to enable Attewell to ensure we are quoting in line with competitors * Follow up on relevant sales lead/ opportunities to gather marketing data and identify and develop new core business * To respond to key customers progress/ delivery reports/ trackers and generally keep them updated on the progress of their orders. This involves attending daily/ weekly conference calls with the customer and peers and colleagues internally to ensure we are achieving milestones highlighted on customers delivery reports/ trackers * Maintaining and expanding the already excellent customer client base, providing all customers with an exceptional service and keeping them regularly updated on any developments or changes within Attewell * Analyse, update and display relevant measures of performance data as required by the Management Team * Work with/ alongside Technical Department to download information from customer databases/ portals * Marketing/ Sales reports * Support other team members as and when required Skills required carrying out this job: * A knowledge of the Aerospace Industry is ideal but not a necessity * Minimum of 2 years sales experience * The ability to demonstrate the raising of problems/ bottlenecks and solving of problems, tracking of performance and workload planning * Ability to work to deadline * Applicant must be flexible and willing to work additional hours agreed prior with line manager to support business needs * Maths and English to GCSE Level C minimum * Basic presentation skills * Strong Team Player * Good knowledge of Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint * Must be a quick learner and able to handle pressure in a fast paced environment * Good communication skills * Good organisational skills Working hours: Monday : Thursday : 08.15am : 05.00pm Friday : 08.15am : 12.45pm (You may be required to work additional hours to support business) 37.5 hours per weeks Bonus: There is a discretional bonus system which you will become eligible for after successful completion of your probation period.
