Highlight trends & variances, providing insightful commentaries to challenge site performance Site reporting will focus on areas such as, production performance, stock management, technical and quality controls, supply chain, overheads and other site costs Monthly overhead reviews and challenges on YTG forecast Build and improve where appropriate KPI pack for finance and site performance Client Details truly global brand name, with sites throughout the UK. This a factory site and would be an excellent entry into the larger group. Highly commercial role for an Accountant who wants to add value & influence. This site is hoping to become a centre of operation excellence. Description Control & challenge all assumptions & inputs to the annual budget process for operational P&L, overheads, capital & balance sheet Responsible for ensuring product costings are up to date, accurate and maintained in the system. Capital Expenditure review: Evaluate & prepare all support for site capital submissions Post completion reviews of all projects Physical stock management - site & 3rd party providers: With use of stock reporting, challenge and suggest process improvements to improve stock management, this could be physical or system improvements Input into validation of MRP forecast versus financial / commercial forecast Attend all relevant meetings operational, commercial and finance One direct report, finance assistant, manage and develop. Support and contribute to the FGs division and Telford site in the delivery of its 3 year vision and strategy Produce Weekly & Monthly site reports: Highlight trends & variances, providing insightful commentaries to challenge site performance Site reporting will focus on areas such as, production performance, stock management, technical and quality controls, supply chain, overheads and other site costs Monthly overhead reviews and challenges on YTG forecast Build and improve where appropriate KPI pack for finance and site performance Operational forecasting & budgeting: Coordinate all aspects of site operational reforecasting process, feeding into the central reforecasting process Profile Qualified accountant with FMCG or manufacturing experience the ability to challenge and influence, whilst supporting non finance colleagues Job Offer daily rate 250 - 300 per day
