Hosted / Cloud Platform Manager A long established, industry leading business with their Head Office in Hemel Hempstead requires a Hosted / Cloud Platform Manager. Reporting into the operations director and having responsibility for a team of around six you will be responsible for the design, deployment, operation, and support of the clients mission critical services that are hosted in various data centres across the UK. Day:to:day tasks include : being responsible for the design and running of high availability cloud services from a range of services including PBX and ACD, maintenance, continued operations and continuous improvements of the platform including patching, software upgrades, configuration, documentation and monitoring solutions, help develop and run management tools to ensure optimal network operation, security and fraud prevention, select and work with suppliers on product selection, work with the hosted team to deliver continuous interop testing with new suppliers, provide support to the sales functions for customer proposals and tenders and work closely with development, project delivery and Success Management teams to maintain high standards in delivery. You will be able to show previous experience in a similar role with a deep understanding of the following : running high availability cloud services, IP networking, firewalls, SIP and RTP, session border controllers and PBX, techniques for high availability and load balancing and any knowledge of infosec standards would be a distinct advantage as well as ISO27001 or PCI DSS.
