Our client is a leading automotive dealer group who have been providing New and Used cars on behalf of their manufacturer for many years. They offer a range of services including Sales, Parts and Aftersales which enables their dealerships to sell more cars profitably. Looking after the UK:. Reporting into the Group Training Manager, the Aftersales Trainer will have a proven track record of training and developing Aftersales professionals from within the automotive industry. You will also be a dynamic and driven sales person who enjoys the thrill of presenting and closing deals to both retailers and manufacturers. You will be expected to manage the portfolio of car dealerships and to ultimately increase the Aftersales performance throughout your dealers. Enthusiasm and the desire to succeed are a necessity in this role as well as understanding the automotive industry. It is absolutely essential that you're open to national travel and prepared to stay away from home for two days a week as a minimum. The Aftersales Trainer will:. * Assess retailer Aftersales process and strategies to recommend improvements to enhance performance. * Monitoring Aftersales performance with a focus on upselling insurance products and services. * Using your CRM to monitor and review dealer and individual performance. * Using the Business Plan to develop action plans for business growth. * Working as a team with Group Training Manager to proactively address retailer needs. * Meeting regularly with the general manager representatives to ensure business partnership. * Understanding and promote the policy on providing outstanding customer service. Desired Skills & Experience. In addition to this, the Aftersales Trainer will be:. * A proven Sales trainer with a passion for forging new relationships with automotive retailers. * A proactive worker who is self-motivated and capable of running a field based territory and able to stay away from home when required. * A strong presenter and communicator. * The ability to plan and ensure their time is managed efficiently. * Candidates that have a proven history of over achieving within Aftersales. * Strong selling, negotiating, reporting and commercial skills. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Have excellent interpersonal skills and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude. * Full UK driving licence and prepared to travel extensively across the UK. Automotive industry experience is essential for our client as they are looking for candidates who have a proven track record in an Aftersales field or retail sales environment who can demonstrate strong negotiation skills, possess great commercial awareness and have the ability to close deals.
