Job description:
3rd Line Support Engineer is required to join a growing and progressive IT outsourcing / IT Reseller company from their head office based on the outskirts of Poole. The role of a 3rd Line Support Engineer will be to provide in-depth Infrastructure support to their growing client base. You will be involved in all Server level issues along with any issues which are escalated from their 2nd line team. You will be working within a Windows environment (Sever 2012, Exchange 2013 and Active Directory) but also with other technologies such as VMware and Citrix. The majority of the role will be done from their head office but you may be expected to travel to client site on occasion The correct candidate for the 3rd Line Support Engineer role would preferably have some experience working with an IT outsourcing company / IT reseller or have worked within a strong 2nd line support role or 3rd line support. My client is looking for someone with the following experience: * Microsoft Server systems up to 2012R2 * Exchange 2010 / 2013, any exposure to Office 365 would be good * Active Directory Further experience within some or all of the following would also be highly beneficial * VMware * Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop * SAN Systems * Networking As you will be working as part of a team and will be in regular contact with my clients growing customer base then your communications, both written and verbal must be very strong.
