Good afternoon, We are currently recruiting for 4 x Web Content Controllers to assist with the re:writing of website content for a large Public Sector Organisation based in Birmingham. Duration 6:8 months Pay: GBP20 : GBP25ph on a LTD or Umbrella basis During this assignment you will: * Monitor the website to ensure it reflects the most accurate and up to date content which citizens require and that content is well presented and easy to understand * Champion customer led intuitive navigation access to content, responding to feedback to deliver continuous improvement * Ensure the visions and values run through the website and content, and clearly communicate to citizens the changing culture of engagement to resolve their needs * Control the application of metadata to web page content in line with national and government e:standards * Maintain the metadata database for the website * Play a leading role in supporting the creation and publishing of non:standard content and functionality including multimedia content, graphics, sound, animation, clickable images, maps, and hard coded links * Support the complex conversion of Customer Services organisation and the Service Area documents to formats suitable for self:service platforms and the council intranet * Work closely with the operations team to ensure alignment with current operational activity * Create new website pages and content templates for the Content Management System * Advise Service Areas on best practice web page content design * Manage Content Management System user accounts and support the coaching of Directorate Web Editors and Co:ordinators * Provide training documentation and guidelines for content providers * Ensure all web content meets accessibility guidelines * Make recommendations fo:
