The permanent division of Robert Half Finance & Accounting are working in partnership with a multi-national organisation based in Northampton who are seeking a dynamic Management Accountant who is passionate about innovation. The Management Accountant will have the unique opportunity of taking full ownership of the management reporting for all of the UK entities while mentoring and supporting a small team. The role of Management Accountant is paying between £31,000 - £37,000 plus full study support and excellent benefits. Role Working directly for the UK Finance Director you will provide accurate and timely information on the financial performance of the UK business and supporting the decision making process. Key responsibilities will include: Produce month end accounts ready for submission Control the balance sheet and ensure accurate recording of all assets and liabilities Monthly reviews of overheads Work with the UK Finance Director to support the budgeting and forecasting process Preparation of ECSL (European Community Sales Lists) and Intrastat return Payroll reconciliation Support the transactional team Assist in the preparation of the quarterly board reports Support the UK Finance Director in year-end accounts, annual audits Profile Actively studying towards a professional ideally, ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience Strong communication skills - capable of working with both internal and external stakeholders High degree of commercial acumen Strong Excel knowledge Able to work within tight deadlines Results orientated, with a desire succeed It would also be desirable to have line management or supervisory experience The Company Our client has grown rapidly to become a European market leader in their sector and is now known worldwide.
