Job description:
Senior C++ development role offering a strong career development track to TL. The product is a highly mathematical graphical application on the windows platform and the role will be focussed on Routing algorithms and GUI design. In house they work with QT You will be working as a senior C++ software developer for an interactive graphical application used worldwide. Initially the role will focus on front end software development in C++ with a focus on usability, there are opportunities to move into leadership or back end development in the future. Due to the nature of the product an interest in electronics or mathematics would be useful and any experience of graphical development tools such as QT, DirectX or OpenGL would be highly desirable, QT is the tool used in house. Essential Skills: * Experience developing software in C++ * A good communicator with the ability to fit well into a team. * Clear, logical thinking and the creative ability to solve problems. Desirable Skills: Experience with the following is not essential but would be advantageous * Experience of graphical tools such as QT, Direct X, Etc. * Formal, structured programming experience. * OOA/OOD experience. * Experience of interactive, graphical applications. * Strong mathematical skills and an interest in algorithm development. * Data modelling experience and an understanding of complex data structures.
