Pulse has a client who is looking for a Senior 1 Cardiac Radiographer to join their Cardiac department on a full time permanent basis. The Senior 1 Cardiac Radiographer will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team in the cardiac catheter laboratories. They will need to ensure the protection and safety of all staff and patients against the dangers of ionising radiation and comply with ionising Radiation Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act, Manual Handling and COSHH Regulations. The post holder will participate in the induction and training of new staff and attend mandatory and other appropriate staff training. They will also provide support to the Superintendent Radiographer. It is essential the candidate has DCR, BSc or equivalent in Radiography with current HCPC registration. They must have Catheter laboratory experience and proven post graduation experience in Cardiology. It is also essential that the post hold participates in the departments out-of-hours on call rota.
