Job title: Resource and Capacity Manager - 12 month contract

Our client is a global professional services firm based in Central London who are currently recruiting Resource and Capacity Manager to start as soon as possible on a 12 month contract. This position will report directly in to the Head of Operations for the global business unit with a broad mandate but a focus on Resource and Capacity Management. The position is to start as soon as possible and is a pivotal role within the Operations team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to meet financial and non-financial objectives and the utilisation of resources and ensure operational excellence. This position will pay between £65k to £74k plus benefits and is a fantastic opportunity to work for a truly global business. * Management and development of a Resource Management team * Resource and capacity management within the UK business and to drive utilisation improvement in conjunction with Business Leaders. * Managing the service relationship with the resourcing process support in overseas Shared Service centre. * Understanding financial performance against budget on a weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual basis and the ability to understand the related business performance issues * Supporting Business Leaders in providing and interpreting management information in order to facilitate proactive management of their businesses. * Management oversight of headcount related business processes * Link with central functions to execute/ provide support for specific initiatives * Managing ad hoc operational projects at the request of the Operations Director and Business Leaders. * Proactively review existing and implement new operational processes Candidates must have / be: * Experience of Resource and Capacity Management, ideally gained within a partnership or a matrix structure. * Understanding of a professional services environment and/or Financial Services sector. * An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can be robust and can manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously. * Strong systems and excel skills This position will pay between £65k and £74k plus benefits and is a fantastic opportunity to work for a truly global business.
