Job description:
We now have exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join the G4S Secure Solutions (UK) team in the Hook area. * Answer telephone, screen and direct calls appropriately using a Switchboard * Take and relay messages * Provide information to callers as and when necessary and appropriate * Greet persons entering the client site * Direct persons to correct destination within the client site * Deal with queries from customers, staff, visitors and contractors * General administrative and clerical support * Prepare letters and documents * Receive and sort mail and deliveries * Schedule appointments and manage meeting rooms within the client site * Maintain a smart, professional reception area at all times  The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience in a similar environment: * Be well organised and professional at all times  * Customer focused * Have the ability to work under your own initiative with minimal supervision.  * Have the ability to work to tight deadlines * Problem solving skills * Enthusiasm and drive to deliver exceptional customer service * IT literate to an intermediate level –Microsoft Excel, Word and Access (desirable) To be considered for employment with G4S in this role you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements: * Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months * Be fluent in spoken and written English * Have a five year checkable employment history or be able to  produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment or full and part  time education during that period
