Role: As a Lead Java Developer you will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team responsible for delivering a variety of applications and software according to the company’s needs. Your responsibilities will be: · Leading the core engineering team that designs and deploys solutions using Java · Getting involved with, and influencing, architectural and strategic decisions · Identify exciting new opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges Key Skills: · Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics or other technical discipline · Considerable exposure with Java web applications · Exposure to IBM mainframe technologies · Java Core .7+ · Web Application frameworks Struts or Spring/MVC · Experience in the following; JPA & SQL · JavaScript and JQuery · Oracle, MySQL, SQLserver Desirable Skills: · Proven exposure with deploying and managing commercial packaged software · Industry exposure of test driven development methodology Company Environment and remuneration: · Dress down code. · Agile environment. · Flexible working. · Up to £65,000 starting base salary. · Up to 30% annual bonus. · Discounts on holiday packages and travel.
