Location: Central London (EC2A) nearest tube station Liverpool Street. Contract type: Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover until 31 December 2016. Salary: £Competitive. ROLE:. Provides a great grounding in Finance. Opportunity to learn about the Financial Services industry. Be part of a highly motivated team. Direct exposure to the senior members of the Finance team. RESPONSIBILITIES:. a) Preparation of Bonus pay-out calculation on a monthly basis. b) Preparation of License allocations on a monthly basis. c) Production of the Global monthly management pack. d) Supporting the Global Finance team with variance analysis. e) Supporting Senior Finance Manager and Senior Analyst in preparation of the plan and forecasts for the global WUBS (Western Union Business Solutions) business. f) Business partnering with other department delivering valuable analysis on their cost base. g) Support in ad hoc analysis to drive business value. h) Involvement in devising measures to control / reduce costs. ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:. a) Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills. b) Team player. c) Used to working to tight deadlines. d) Attention to detail. e) Ability to effectively set priorities, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and produce quality work. f) Passion to learn financial systems. g) Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and organizational skill. h) Ability to work independently. DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:. a) CIMA / ACCA Part-Qualified preferred but not essential. b) Accounting background preferred but not essential.
