IT Delivery Assurance Manager x2 - Brighton - Permanent - Public Sector - up to £65,000 salary pa We have a two exciting permanent opportunities within a brand new structure looking for an IT Delivery Assurance Managers. The role will require the post holders to largely undertake weekly (and as required) Audits of all IT Projects in order to assess the probability of successful delivery and, where appropriate, make recommendations to improve the likelihood of successful delivery The role will need the Manager to define the systems development lifecycle and Project Manager methodology then enforce it so they must have experience of delivering significant projects and programmes. Essentially we require the candidate to have the following: *Extensive track record of successful and controlled delivery of significant SOFTWARE (not infrastructure) projects and programmes as a Programme/Project Manager. *Thorough understanding of the entire formal Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). *Thorough understanding and experience of the practical application of formal project management methodology to achieve successful delivery. *Experience of implementing governance and project management best-practice *A background within Software would be very highly desirable Excellent benefits are offered including Civil Service Pension arrangements, which are recognised as some of the best in the pensions world.
