Job description:
37 hours per week Role: * Manage and develop the existing portfolio of five golf courses, focusing on quality, customer service and efficiency * Lead the team of grounds maintenance staff/ Greenkeepers and provide direction and focus so that the courses are productive and efficient * Drive new initiatives and opportunities to increase revenue. * Look for opportunities to secure additional golf contracts to add to the portfolio, develop a network of contacts and be the lead for tenders and negotiations * Act as the lead for tender processes, produce achievable but challenging business plans and deliver them through effective management Essential Qualifications: * Experience in a similar role.  Effective people manager * Strong track record in managing and developing golf courses * Good working knowledge of the golf industry, clubs and development pathways * Ability to write challenging and achievable business plans and deliver them * Understanding of budgeting and ability to forecast accurately * Ability to achieve essential KPI’s * Experience of achieving Quest accreditation Desirable Qualifications: * Competent Golfer * Experience working with clubs * Experience of golf development Benefits: * Free use of world class facilities * Free uniform (dependent on role) * Discount on meals * Option to join defined contribution pension scheme We are an Equal Opportunities Employer and welcome applicants from all sectors of the community.
