The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for the design, development, implementation analysis and review of appropriate digital marketing activities to support companies in the Group and its associated partners. Functional Structure & Key Relationships. Key Relationships. The role of the digital marketing specialist is to act as marketing counsel to all relevant stakeholders that are associated with Group marketing activities. This will include those inside and outside the business. This role will require strong working relationships with both marketing services and e-business, since both departments will be required to support the digital marketing consultant implement relevant plans and activities as required by the business. Duties. Design, development, implementation and measurement of digital marketing activity that supports the Group of companies. This will include:. Developing clear strategies for the development and improvement of all group websites - including working with key stakeholders to decide what our group website strategy looks like. Working with relevant internal teams to produce clear design and development briefs for digital tools/calculators and change improvements which seek to make our customers lives easier. Liaising with key stakeholders to collate, analyse and interpret appropriate digital management information that supports both intermediated and consumer marketing efforts. Liaising with key stakeholders in the business to help define and implement more effective data capture, manipulation tools. Develop clear social media strategy for the group which ensures adequate monitoring and reporting, as well as a clear view on how it can be better utilised to support acquisition, retention and brand building for the business. Providing internal advice to help to grow and proliferate the digital skills throughout the company, primarily encompassing SEO, PPC and all forms of digital and mobile marketing and PR analytics. Helping to ensure that the company stays abreast of all industry trends and emerging opportunities. Working with the intermediated and consumer marketing specialists in the design of effective PPC and SEO campaigns both for the company and for affiliate partners, providing direction and leadership to ensure campaigns are as effective as possible. Ensure all activities undertaken adhere to the relevant policies and procedures of the business, is within our risk appetite and is approved according to the appropriate compliance procedures. Representation of the company at appropriate partner and key stakeholder meetings as well as conferences and industry events. Support, where relevant to the Group change programme, and projects that are being deployed by the marketing department. Qualifications. Marketing or business related degree. Preferably CIM qualification in digital marketing. Skills and Knowledge. The digital marketing consultant will act as counsel to a number of key stakeholders across the group. Knowledge. Good understanding of financial services products is important to be able to have a firm grasp on the complexities of differing user groups (eg consumers and financial intermediaries). Ability to plan, execute and manage digital marketing campaigns - including SEO, PPC and email - as well as some understanding of mobile. Solid understanding of CMS platforms, and how they can be employed effectively. Experienced and highly skilled user of Microsoft Excel, powerpoint and word so that presentations, mail merges and lookup tables present no problems.
