Expanding retailer with a HQ in London seek an experienced Head of FM to take the lead on a major cost saving project and take control of energy and environmental initiatives for their UK portfolio. You will be predominantly head office based providing an advisory and consultancy type service to a team of experienced regional Facilities Managers who each look after a portfolio of property. Ultimately the role of Head of Facilities is one that reports in at Executive level and will be involved with FM strategy and FM cost saving initiatives across a portfolio of stores that are currently lacking Head Office involvement / guidance. You will have proven experience managing: * Tendering for and procuring national contracts, particularly utilities. * Health & safety and compliance * Contract and contractor management * Managing Energy, environmental and sustainability programmes * Capital projects (management of complex fit outs) * Cyclical maintenance and refurbishments * Cost saving initiatives * Budget management and forecasting * Stakeholder management and communication You will be a confident team leader who has experience managing a multi-site portfolio, preferably from a retail, hospitality or leisure background. NEBOSH is highly advantageous as are any other formal facilities or engineering related qualifications. Utilities management, contract management, contract tendering, compliance, H&S and project management skills are essential. You will have previously managed large FM and preferably CAPEX budgets. The portfolio of properties is likely to continue to grow over the next few years so you will be comfortable with mobilizing new sites and managing change within your team.
