My client based in Bracknell has worldwide presence and are currently recruiting for a factory manager. This specific role is at management level and candidates would be expected to make sure their teams and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements and still achieve high quality and safety standards. As an internationally based company, there is a real strong emphasis on investing time and money into developing its teams and staff. The company also has a proven track record of growth, fulfilling customer needs and identifying gaps in the market for future projects. As Factory manager, you will be responsible for the whole of production, supply chain and procurement department and be expected to meet customer demands on time, efficiently and to a high standard of quality. You must also establish clear but specific leadership to all teams covered and create a culture of proactive continuous improvement with each department. Key experiences: * 10 years manufacturing or production experience * Driving Continuous improvement culture * Lean manufacturing tools (kaizen, 5s, six-sigma, poka yoke) * Evidence of improving production processes * People management, Being able to implement change, adapt to culture and improve individual performances * Materials handling/ Resource Planning experience. * Supply chain experience * Procurement experience Specific qualifications &skills include; Batchelor's in Mechanical engineering or other engineering equivalents Salary on offer is up to £60,000 (depending on experience) and has a competitive benefits package If you feel you have the specific skill set...
