A secondary school located in the county of Kent is seeking to appoint a talented and dedicated English Teacher. The post is for a January 2016 start and can be a one or two year contract with the possibility of being extended. The most recent Ofsted inspection in 2014 rated the school as "Good" across all areas. The report observed that students, staff and governors share the headteacher's ambitious vision for the school. Students' enthusiastic involvement in everything the school has to offer is seen in their mature, courteous behaviour in the classroom and around the school as well as their keenness to learn. Students respond well to the excellent teaching within the school, make good progress and achieve well as a result of this. This average-sized secondary school for boys has 1050 pupils aged 11-16 on roll. There are a variety of extra-curricular opportunities at the school including; music club and science club, in addition to numerous sporting activities such as; volleyball, basketball, badminton and table tennis. he school has excellent transport links with three train stations within a mile of the school and London Gatwick airport can be reached in 40 minutes.
