Corporate Tax Senior, St Albans, £30,000 - £45,000 Our client are a leading, dynamic practice that have been serving the South East for over 40 years. With both individuals and businesses as clients their goal is to help their clients achieve their financial goals through providing the highest level of customer service with added value. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, supportive working environment within a growing company. As a Corporate Tax Senior you will be responsible for looking after compliance matters predominantly in corporate tax. You will be supporting the Corporate Tax Director with corporate tax compliance and advisory aspects. This role reports directly to the Corporate Tax Director whilst working closely with client partners. There is the potential within this role to provide additional support to our personal tax team. On a daily basis you will be dealing with matters for the firm that may include (but are not limited to) the following areas: · Share valuations · Re-organisations and mergers · Tax clearance procedures · EIS · CGT – especially entrepreneur’s relief · Group tax planning · EMI Share option schemes · Research and development claims · Capital allowances · Company purchase of own shares · Incorporations Essential Skills · ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT or AAT qualified or equivalent · Minimum of 3 years practice based experience working with multiple partners · Ability to explain tax issues in a non-technical manner · Experience in wide range of sectors · Previous experience of ensuring fees and budget targets are met Key Words: Tax Senior, Corporate Tax, Tax Locations: Hemel Hempstead, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Watford, Harpenden, London Colney, Luton, Dunstable
