Care Workers required to Provide Care & Support to people in their own homes (Full Time, Part Time, Weekends and Live-in positions available)Full Time or Part Time (requirement to work every other weekend either am/pm/eve or all) Car owners and drivers essential. Salary: £7.50 to £9.37 per hour + 35p per mile paid in fuel allowance. Fully funded QCF training available (old NVQ2) after probationary period.Locations: Borough of Croydon including, Coulsdon, Purley, Sanderstead, Shirley, Thornton Heath, Crystal Palace. Must be prepared to travel anywhere in borough and MUST have use of a car. We are a successful and reputable privately owned domiciliary care provider specialising in providing home care to assist our customers to live full, interesting lives and still stay within the comfort of their own home. Due to expansion of our business we are looking to recruit several Home Care Assistants with their own transport for which a fuel allowance is paid. Successful Candidates will be required to complete and obtain a CRB disclosure as this position is not exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. All successful candidates, irrespective of their previous experience, will need to complete an induction training course which will be 3 days in duration. You can choose to work full or part time. All successful candidates are supported by us to obtain QCF Level 2 (previously NVQ2) care qualifications after 6 months employment for which a higher rate of pay is paid once this qualification is obtained. You will assist customers with their general health and personal care needs; provide assistance within the community, as well as promoting independence and ensuring that each customer receives a high level of care.
