Business Development (SALES) Consultant - Security Consultancy - Halesowen, West Midlands From £18000 - £22000 plus commission OTE £40,000 plus The Company: Our client is a rapidly expanding consultancy with a unique approach to holistic security solutions. The company operates in a small, family environment where all employees are part of the team. The Role: The successful Business Development Consultant will join our client's Business Development department in selling information security and physical security consultancy services to the UK public sector (Government, Police and NHS) and the wider commercial sectors. The role will involve self generation of leads through proactive tele-calling, establishing a decision maker, educating the client on the benefits of the solutions, attending sales meetings supported by proposal and quote generation and subsequent account management following successful sales closure. This is a full sales cycle role and the successful candidate will be expected to take full responsibility for his/her accounts. Full service portfolio training will be provided. The commission scheme in place will allow the successful candidate to double their basic salary by achieving target. Requirements for Information Business Development Consultant role: A proven track record in sales from cold calling/lead generation to sales closure Solutions/Consultative Sales experience essential Strong communication and presentation skills An excellent approach to business development with the confidence to take knock backs in their stride Experience in a services sector is preferred but not essential Whilst this is not a technical sales role, experience in an IT Security environment or IT in general is beneficial Must have own transport and a clean drivers license.
