Building Services Managers for several £100m hi-rise schemes in Northwest Are you an experienced Building Services Manager or M&E Project Manager looking to work on some of the Northwest most prominent hi-rise Residential projects? Then read on… Fusion have met with the Head of Operations and Head of Building Services in the Northwest who are looking to bring on board 2-3 Building Services Managers to manage several major hi-rise Residential schemes in the Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside areas with immediate effect. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Reporting into the Head of Building Services you will be responsible for major projects managing these from cradle to grave including the delivery of design, installation and commissioning from pre-qualification to project completion and commissioning. In addition you will be responsible for the management of a team of site-based staff. PROJECTS Projects will be traditional hi-rise residential schemes in the Northwest up to 30 Storeys but typically 10 - 15 storeys high. The total value of these projects will be £90m - £100m with the M&E portion alone being (between £8-£15m). SUITABLE APPLICANTS - Will already be working as a Building Services Manager or M&E Project Manager for a reputable Construction Main Contractor - Will ideally be comfortable from front end, right through to site delivery - Have worked in several sectors of Construction ideally with a portion of this on hi-rise Residential schemes - Have strong client facing, design management and some cost management (working with the commercial team) - Be able to deliver the project from installation on site right through to commissioning - Will have solid experience of vetting various bids through the tender process - Be able to demonstrate extensive experience of managing and driving M&E Sub Contractors SALARY AND PACKAGE Due to the seniority of this position, a basic salary from £52, 000 to £58 is provided, plus car / car allowance, pension, healthcare and the opportunity to be involved with some of the most high-profile developments currently in the Northwest of England.
