Service Care Solutions are on the lookout for a qualified Band 6 Community CAMHS Practitioner to join an NHS community team in the West Yorkshire area. The manager is looking for Band 6 practitioners paying £22-23ph (Limited Company) depending on experience. •To work within a specialist mental health team who see children and young people up to age 18 where there are concerns about their emotional wellbeing or behaviour. •The CAMHS patients may be very upset or very angry, they may be behaving in unusual ways, or their family or carers, friends or teachers may be very worried about them. •The ideal candidate must be able to carry a community case load of patients, working across clinics and patients' homes in providing high quality care. •To perform detailed risk assessments in diagnosing and treating multifaceted mental health issues as part of the treatment of the individual. •Must be a comfortable, effective and organised lone worker. •To work effectively as part of a MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) and liaise with other mental healthcare professionals. •Must be a Qualified Social Worker who is currently registered with the HCPC or a Qualified Mental Health Nurse who is currently registered with the NMC. •Must have a minimum 6 months working in Community Mental Health in areas such as CAMHS, IAPT, CMHT, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Crisis Resolution, Primary Care etc. •Must hold a full valid driving license and a car is essential to use as part of the job role.
