Our client is a leader in the UK in the sourcing and supply of high quality, luxury and speciality foods. They have several own brand products and also supply into retail, food service and food manufacturing. Due to continuing growth, we are looking for a Category Lead to help further grow their successful retail side. This is a new role, so we need someone with drive, experience within food retail, and a passion for what they do. You will have: * A number of years’ experience working within food retail * Experience of working with 3rd party manufacturers * Excellent Supplier relationship management skills * Preferably some sales and project management experience * Have good communication skills, be resilient and sharp Have a good sense of humour and want to work for a small but growing organisation where you will be able to shine and be noticed. Fluent French speaker and a Degree would be beneficial, as would experience of buying ready meals but if you are passionate about food, great customer service and take pride from seeing your brand on a supermarket shelf, do get in touch!
