The Business. This business has been involved in the import of specialised American Candy for over 5 years, and in August 2012, we were happy to announce the opening of our second American Candy Store at the Meadowhall Shopping centre in Sheffield. With over 800 American Sweets, drinks and groceries in store, we are sure that we can cater for every taste. Pop in and see more than 60 Wonka products, over 40 combinations of Reeses and many more of your American favourites. The Job. The day to day duties will include:. Meeting and greeting customers. Dealing with the general public and the trade. Advising clients on products. Processing sales/orders including till operation. Keeping the shop floor fully stocked. Pricing the stock. Work cooperatively and pro-actively with colleagues at all times. Promote and demonstrate excellent product knowledge. To carry out other duties as directed by the Store Manager and Supervisor. This role would suit an individual who enjoys a busy and lively environment. The successful candidate will study a Level 2 NVQ in Retail . This will be aided by an Assessor who will carry out all assessment as work based learning, within the workplace. Dependent on previous qualifications, the learner will also complete Functional Skills in Maths, English and I.T., in addition to a Technical Certificate. The Person. Positive attitude.
