Assistant Estimator Job This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Estimator to join an ambitious and reputable Welsh main contractor. They are looking for a hard working and energetic Estimator with a strong commercial background to assist the Commercial Manager and be able to hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have up to 4 and a good understanding of Estimating/Quantity Surveying for a main contractor Your key responsibilities will include: * Assist in preparing subcontract enquiries / quotation comparisons and subcontract documents. * Assist in the commercial management of department. * Assist in providing commercial advice to the site team. * Take part in discussions concerning performance of those elements of a project in which you are involved. * Provide contact with clients representatives. * Assistance in the production of monthly cost and value reports, quarterly reports and cash flow information. The successful candidate will offer the following: * BSc or HND (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent commercially related subject * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experienced in NEC contracts * Commercial Build Experience * Good computer literacy with experience MS office including Excel, Outlook and Word In return you will receive a competitive salary along with a defined career path and excellent opportunity to progress with one of Waless leading contractors.
