Job description:
Working in a small team for a marketing leading plant hire company, this role will involve servicing, maintaining and repairing plant hire equipment. Due to expansion this would be a fantastic opportunity to join a nationwide hire company offering training and career development. To be considered for this Workshop Fitter role you will have experience repairing plant equipment such as telehandlers, diggers or dumpers and ideally be NVQ qualified or equivalent. Responsibilities of the Workshop Fitter • Carrying out preventative maintenance to construction equipment • Routine servicing and repair of equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. • Diagnosing faults using fault finding equipment • Supporting customers with solutions in a timely and effective manner • As a key member of the workshop, you will be responsible for completing all tasks to the highest standard To be successful within this role, you will have previously worked in positions such as Engineer, Mechanic, Service Technician, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Workshop Fitter or Plant Fitter related to the construction industry.
