Full service creative agency have a great opportunity for an ambitious and talented Web developer to join their expanding development team based in Manchester. You will be a passionate Web Developer who likes being challenged to build innovative bespoke WordPress theme creations that, in some case will need to integrate with payment gateways such as SagePay. They are looking for someone who demonstrates an appetite to stay up-to date with web development best practices and has a portfolio that shows clean development and innovation. On a day to day basis you will be working in a fast paced environment working with both the creative team and client managers developing a variety of different web sites for some very prestigious clients. Passion for web development is the main requirement but you will need to be technically competent in PHP, WordPress, CSS3, HTML 5, JavaScript, MySQL, jQuery along with the use of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. It is expected that you would have an understanding of up to date SEO practices, concepts and considerations as well as some understanding or commercial experience of MVC, Database design, third party plug-ins and API's. If you are passionate about web development and have the desire to learn then this is a very good opportunity to work in a varied innovative working environment alongside a passionate and like-minded team.
