Job title: Urology Specialist Nurse (Proleptic Post)

Job description:
We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered nurse with a with a minimum of a BSc but willing to work towards an MSc or recognised post graduate urology qualification (or equivalent) This appointment will be made on a 'proleptic' basis with a guaranteed post at the end of the 1 year training term. The successful candidate should be committed to the provision of high quality, patient focused care; have a flexible approach to service needs and a genuine interest in working with patients requiring urology care. Previous experience in urology is a requirement of this post. For the duration of the training, you will be supported and inspired by the urology team; training will include carrying out diagnostic tests e.g. urodynamics. The Urology team currently provides the following services: Vasectomy Diagnostic flexible cystoscopy Nurse led clinics General and specialist urology clinics Specialist Nurse Service.
