Telesales Adviser Ipswich Salary/Rate  £15800/annum Uncapped commission   Telesales Adviser Role Purpose: To promote and sell my clients electricity services to new business customers Reporting to: Telesales Team Manager Location & hours: Normal hours - Mon to Fri (08:45 - 17:00hrs) Salary £15800 (with uncapped commission, opportunity to increase basic by achieving Senior Adviser status, based on achievement of performance criteria) The role: To make calls to small and medium sized businesses to sell my clients electricity contracts Close sales with customers over the telephone 2.0 hours talk time per day 4 quotes per day 300,000kwh per month contracted volume Good communication & influencing skills Sales & customer focussed Proven telesales expertise with experience of operating in a target driven environment where quality sales calls are key to business success. IT literate Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership Knowledge of the electricity or gas industries, or financial services through working in the sectors would be an advantage Self motivated and driven Attention to detail, accuracy Explain the features of the product/service to the customer and 'sell’ its benefits Clarify and resolve customer queries at the sales stage, handling objections to secure customers Take customer through the application process where appropriate and process sales contract Number of recommendations/referrals from customers Quality customers signed up Conversion rates from customer telephone acceptance to signed contracts Input sales and quotations generated into clients CRM system Update customer contact database/ diary system after each call Data quality- 100% accuracy of customer contact information 100% of call correspondence logged and updated Behavior/Person Specific You are aware of and anticipate what the customer needs (Customer focused) Shows initiative - you come up with ways of improving how we do things Organizer - you plan your day to ensure that your work is completed on time and to standard Team Worker - you work with others to deliver results and provide support (People focused) Delivery Focused - you work to achieve solutions for customers and the business Quote customers on a regular basis to ensure sales pipeline is built and maintained to achieve overall KPIs and sales targets Accurate quotations issued and recorded Minimum of 100 calls made on a daily basis in order to build sales pipeline on an ongoing basis. General operations processes - adhere to internal processes and procedures and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of operational processes in this area Ongoing adherence to current processes and procedures. Review periods will be held every quarter over the course of the year which will be graded using overall KPI’s and management discretion. These grades will be used to determine the level of pay increase at the end of the year Opportunity to work towards and achieve Senior Adviser status through achievement of published KPIs appropriate to this level. All targets have been consistently exceeded over the review period Or All targets have been met consistently over the review period.
