Telecoms Co-ordinator / Support. Location: Southampton area. Experience required: B2B Telecoms Support. Produck knowledge: WLR, VoIP, Carrier, Number porting. Salary: £21k - £24K. Our client is a well established specialist telecommunications company. They are now seeking to expand their office based Support team and are seeking a candidate who has worked for a Telecoms company in either a Co-ordinator, Customer Service, 1st Line or Technical Support role. This is a mixed and varied position based from their office in the Southampton area. Duties include but are not limited to;. 1st Line Techical Support to Customer base. Porting and migration of numbers and services to and from different telecoms carrier networks. Validating supplier invoices against goods and services received prior to payment. Providing first line technical support for Inbound, WLR and Hosted Telephony. Providing first line technical support for our Broadband customers. Liaising with suppliers to escalate technical issues and following this up to conclusion. Assisting with the in-house IT requirements of the business, i.e. email, Microsoft office etc. Assisting with various projects for the business Directors. Assisting with the day to day running of the office environment. The successful candidate should have;. Excellent communication skills both verbal and email. A good telephone manner is essential. Experience of Fixed line and Cloud Telephony services. Excellent IT skills. Good organisational skills. The ability to prioritise the most urgent or time sensitive. Enjoy working as part of a team. Be willing to join the 'on call rota' to cover out of hours support. In return the right candidate will receive;. A basic starting salary of £21-£24k PA depending on experience. 20 days paid holiday PA plus UK Bank holidays. Access to the companies private medical scheme (on completion of initial probationary period). Free on-site parking. Good prospects to advance in this fast paced and growing environment.
