We have a brand new opportunity, supporting individuals with mental health issues. You will be working for a well established organisation working on a temporary basis. BS Social Care is one of the UK`s leading recruitment specialists, specialising in sourcing and placing skilled workers into roles within the social care sector. The role of the support worker in this service will be to offer support and encouragement to get up and about in the morning. You will be supporting with meals, activities in the community, shopping and attending appointments. You may have to support with cleaning duties from time to time, you may be working 1-1 at times. The role is on a long term temporary basis, the shifts include day shifts and sleeps and weekend work. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dedicated and personable. We are looking for individuals who can show interests in the service users and able to show their own initiative. If you have a DBS on the update service we would love to hear from you You will have a minimum of 1 years paid work experience within the social care sector or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. You need to be flexible to work various shifts. We offer competitive rates of pay, ongoing incentives such as temp of the month and recommend a friend.
