Job description:
Based in Leeds Children's Continuing Care Team but working with the Children's Community Nurse and the Senior Staff Nurse who manage the Continuing Care Caseload, Leeds Children's Nursing and Butterfly Team provide a seven day service. The post is predominately working with the Continuing Care children but does involve working as part of the wider team with weekend and bank holiday cover. The post holder will also have continuing responsibility for assessment of care needs and to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care. They will also be expected to teach parents, carers and other health professionals as required. The successful applicant must be RSCN/RN Child and completed their preceptorship. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
