An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Solicitor (NQ - 3 years PQE) to join the In-house Legal team of a global, market-leading, and growing Technology business, based in their UK office in Coventry. This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor to launch their career In-house and gain experience working in a broad commercial role for a business with clients across the globe. Salary is dependent on individual experience. The In-house Legal team work in a highly visible role in the business; working hard every day to provide comprehensive and commercially focussed legal advice to all areas of the business whilst continuously making commercial decisions that affect the direction and growth of the organisation. The successful Commercial Solicitor will sit within this small team of experienced and ambitious Solicitors, and will draft, negotiate, and advise on a variety of commercial contracts, advise on litigation, provide support to Directors and Senior Managers throughout the business, liaise with external counsel and manage the legal budget, and advise business leaders on Employment, IP, Data Protection, and Regulatory issues. Applications are invited from Solicitors with commercial backgrounds, either from In-house or Private Practice teams, from NQ to 3 years PQE. In-house experience is not essential however candidates should demonstrate their desire to work in a business-driven environment and their ability to work with leaders across the business, including non-legal departments.
