Software Tester Leicester Software, Testing, Documentation, Software House, Leicester Microsoft .NET Software Tester needed for Software House based in Leicester. This role will primarily been testing with some some documentation. The successful candidate will be working as part of the .Net development team and will helping test the code as part of the development sprints. The successful candidate need only have a couple of years experience in testing but needs to be passionate about testing and want to build a career in testing. This role will see testing mission critical and business critical .NET and web applications, possibly mobile apps in the future. And my client is looking for a candidate who has a desire to help the team make sure software is of a high quality before it goes out of the door to customers. You should be able to follow scripted tests, but also test off the script to try and break the software. You will need to be able to work with the development team to design software, and write and perform tests to verify the software works. You will also be able to suggest improvements to usability, performance and other non-functional aspects of the software They also want to set up automated tests in the future and the successful candidate person will play a key role in this. In addition to the test my client is looking for someone who can write good, quality user-focused documentation. Initially you will be helping to update user documentation and technical documentation, but in the future will be expected to create new documentation as well as reviewing documentation produced by others. In return for your skills my client is paying a salary of up to £35000 plus benefits, based in Leicestershire this role is easily commutable from the surrounding area.
