SISTER / CHARGE NURSE (RGN) - ONCOLOGY - LONDON - FULL-TIME - PERMANENT - £38,500 - £50,775 Medicor are pleased to consider applications for the position of Sister / Charge Nurse for our leading private healthcare clients hospital in London on their new Oncology Ward. The successful candidate will be a NMC Registered General Nurse (RGN) with significant post-registration experience. You will hold a mentorship (ENB998) or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working within an Oncology or Haematology ward setting. You will have demonstrable experience of managing a team of nurses and budgetary responsibility. You will either be working at a Sister or Charge Nurse level or be a very experienced Senior Staff Nurse / Junior Sister ready for the next stage in your career. The role is the day to day running of a newly created Oncology Ward within a private hospital in London's medical district. You will oversea the clinical running of the ward and will support the Matron in their role and the management responsibilities of the ward. The ward has 20 beds with a mix of medical and oncology patients (some surgical). The hospital is situated in Central London and is within Zone One of the TfL network with good transport links across the city and beyond. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. This may involve some shift and weekend working, as the unit is open 24/7. Salary for this position is between £38,500 and £50,775 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position. On top of this is an excellent benefits scheme and a class leading clinical education programme. The client can also provide nursing accommodation for those looking to move to London for the first time.
