The Company Our client, KMB Ltd is a highly regarded multi-disciplinary Construction Consultants Practice established for over 25 years with offices in London, Manchester and the East Midlands. With an enviable client portfolio in retail, leisure and commercial sectors, they offer the full array of cost and project management services for numerous projects throughout the UK and a few specialist retail projects in Europe, USA and Australia. They demonstrate strong inter-sector collaboration within the company and foster a supportive and progressive work environment. The Role This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with a proven Consultancy track record to join their excellent team of over 35 dedicated professionals at any of their offices. Reporting to the Directors, you will have complete autonomy as Project Lead on a number of projects for some of their prestigious clients which currently include a number of exclusive bars and Michelin Star Restaurants in London. Projects typically last up to 12 months with values ranging from £0.5m to £5m. Managing the successful implementation and delivery of these projects to ensure that they are on time and within budget, you will be actively involved in the full project process from initial client engagement, project development, the planning and running of capital projects through to their successful commercial delivery. Maintaining regular face-to-face contact with their clients and their teams, you will strengthen relationships to ensure that opportunities for repeat business are realized. The Person As a Senior Project Manager you will have significant UK construction consultancy experience gained through leading commercial projects. Ideally you will have come from a relevant industry background and be chartered by the RICS, the CIOB or RIBA. Experience in any of the following key sectors would also be an advantage: retail, high end restaurants, food and beverage refurbishments and the health sector. To successfully undertake this senior client-facing role, you must be highly professional, personable, enthusiastic and engaging. You are naturally self-motivated and pro-active, comfortable working autonomously and can remain calm whilst simultaneously managing multiple complex projects. You recognize the need for empathy and can adapt your communication and influencing skills to match your varied stakeholders? needs. In Return In addition to providing rare exposure to some prestigious projects for their highly-regarded clients, they are offering a competitive salary with bonus potential and various company benefits including a generous pension and holiday entitlement. Salary is very much dependent on experience and location, but as a guide, up to £50K (with an additional London allowance where appropriate).
