Edward Carter Solutions are looking for a talented and motivated developer to join a growing applications development team. You will work with .Net Framework, deploying to Azure Cloud, to build components for a cutting-edge Enterprise Platform, from services for provisioning data to mobile apps to creating modules for a B2B e-commerce solution. This area of the business is a rapidly growing unit offering exciting opportunities to work with cutting edge and emerging Enterprise technologies in the digital space including mobile technology. You will have proven experience of working effectively in a Senior Developer capacity, with the ability to work autonomously and to self-manage, using your initiative to deliver excellent results. You must be able to work to deadlines and to operate effectively under pressure without allowing lapses in your attention to detail. You should be able to empathise with an application’s end user, and take pride in your ability to write flexible and re-usable software components. Essential Skills:. 5+ years’ experience of C# and .Net Framework up to and including 4.5. ASP.Net MVC 5. Understanding of software engineering design patterns. Experience of the full software development lifecycle. Proven experience in designing and building solutions from the ground. Advantageous:. Experience of Xamarin app development. Experience of Umbraco, Sitecore or other CMS. Understanding of the Azure landscape. Appreciation of business needs in e-commerce.
