Senior Manager Internal Audit Based in Edinburgh Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits One of the UKs leading independent professional services companies are currently looking to recruit an experienced and technically accomplished senior level internal audit professional, tasked with playing a key role in the development and delivery of risk assurance and advisory services to the Scottish market. This is a particularly exciting opportunity for an influential risk practitioner. The company are market leaders in the delivery of risk assurance services across England and Wales, and are now looking to expand their presence in Scotland. To that end they are looking for an individual to develop their service offering across the region and play a key role in the management of an Internal Audit team, overseeing the delivery of complex technical audit assignments and play a key role in Business development. As well as a range of complex and specialist audits at clients sites you would also be expected to recruit and lead the team, ensuring the effective development, planning and utilisation of team members, and monitoring work in accordance with standards and procedures. The emphasis on you taking an active role in identifying business development opportunities, preparing proposals for prospective clients, as well as attending networking events is particularly exciting for the right candidate. You will be provided with a strong development programme to allow you to match your ambitions within the companys thriving and rapidly expanding Risk Assurance and Internal Audit practice. The ideal candidate for the role will be an ACCA/ IIA / CCAB qualified Internal Audit / Risk professional able to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of both the internal audit process and demonstrate experience across a wide range of sectors. You will be a hands-on and flexible individual, with strong commercial awareness plus excellent attention to detail. You will be proactive, articulate with strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, plus excellent analytical and problem solving abilities. With almost 3500 partners and staff across 34 offices generating a fee income of over £300 million, and having recently undergone an exciting rebrand, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms in a highly visible role at a particularly interesting time.
