Senior Java Developer - Central London (Java, Spring, Oracle, REST, JavaScript) Harrington Starr is working with a top financial organisation based in the City of London to find a permanent Senior Java Developer, primarily having experience with Java, Spring, Oracle and Spring. As the Senior Java Developer, you will be working in a team of 6 other strong developers and always contributing to daily discussions. The client are looking for an enthusiastic individual who wants to learn new technologies and can pick these up very quickly. Other responsibilities include: Extensive knowledge of web application and enterprise software applications Excellent background in database design within SQL and Tuning database queries Experience in web development and Behaviour Driven Development Post-Secondary degree in computer science or related field or a combination of related experience and education Having experience of using one or more programming languages: Java/Python/Scala A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment Java 6/7 Spring, Oracle REST JavaScript Shell Scripting This is a great opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to take a key strategic role in leading the development area and working closely with an experienced team using new technologies.
