This exciting days-based Senior Financial Accountant role will offer an exciting position in the short-term and numerous opportunities in the long-term (the company in question fills over half of its roles internally). You will report into the Finance Manager and be responsible for leading the Management Accountant team for a fast-moving food manufacturing business. Key responsibilities for this role include: * Analysing commercial and operational control systems and improving where necessary * Generate reports regarding commercial, purchasing or operational activities * Manage the rolling forecast * Ensure sales and margin balance sheets are understood and justified * Review management accounting systems e.g. - Costings, Sage, Marco * Manage and develop a team of four direct reports This business is looking for someone to help assist with the ongoing growth, the business has experienced, so you will need good technical understanding and ideally a degree, or equivalent, combined with a professional qualification - ACCA or CIMA. You should also be used to weekly and monthly reporting, as well as budget setting. The company is keen for someone to have a real financial appreciation (this is preferred to management accounts).
